入門ゲートをくぐると、全国屈指の色鮮やかな約250本のしだれ桜が揺れる並木道が現れます。もちろんしだれ桜だけでなく、吉野桜や八重桜の華やかさも楽しむことができ、園内には大型広場が三か所設置されているので、そこでも遊ぶことができます。また食事施設やお土産販売もあるので、家に帰ってからもお花見気分を味わうことができます。
