鎌倉大仏として有名な国宝銅像阿弥陀如来坐像がおいてある寺。ほぼ造像当初の姿を残している貴重な大仏は数ある鎌倉の仏像で唯一国宝に指定されています。大きさも日本で2番目に大きく、迫力満点です。

Kamakura Daibutsuden Kotokuin Temple is home to the famous bronze statue of Amida Nyorai, a national treasure, known as the Great Buddha of Kamakura. This precious statue, which almost retains its original form, is the only one among the many Buddhist statues in Kamakura to be designated as a national treasure. It is the second largest statue in Japan and is very powerful.
