長谷寺 / Hase Temple

花の御寺と呼ばれるほど季節にあわっせて四季折々の花が咲き乱れるお寺。仁王門から本堂へと続く399段の風雅な登廊や、木造では日本最大級の十一面観世音菩薩像はとても有名で一見の価値があります。

Hase Temple is called the "Temple of Flowers" because of its seasonal blooms. The 399 steps leading from the Niomon Gate to the main hall and the largest wooden statue of the eleven-faced Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in Japan are very famous and well worth a visit.
