霊山・戸隠山の麓に鎮座し、天の岩戸を開けたとされる天手力雄命を祀る神社。開運、心願成就、五穀豊熟などの御神徳があるとされます。参道は約2kmに及び、樹齢約400年の杉並木が美しいです。
Okusha (Head Shrine) is located at the foot of Mt. Togakushi, a sacred mountain, and is dedicated to Amaterikio-no-Mikoto, who is said to have opened the Iwato of Heaven. The shrine is said to have divine virtues such as good luck, fulfillment of one's wishes, and abundance of grain. The approach to the shrine is about 2 km long and is lined with beautiful 400-year-old cedar trees.
