豊臣秀吉の指導によって戦国武将の宇喜多秀家が長い歳月をかけて完成させた岡山城は、真っ黒に塗られた天守閣が印象的です。漆黒の天守閣がカラスの羽の色と似ていることから、「烏城（うじょう）」とも呼ばれています。
